About the opportunity:
Are you an ambitious Analyst Relations Manager looking for a new challenge and an opportunity to further develop your skills and career?
We’re looking for the right person to partner with the Director of Communications to manage the strategy and operations of our global analyst relations program. The ideal person is self-driven, knows IT industry analyst firms (Gartner, Forrester, IDC, 451 Group), and has proven success in building collaborative relationships with influential analysts, executive spokespeople, and product and marketing leaders.
As Datadog’s Global Analyst Relations Manager, you are responsible for successfully leading relationships and multiple projects on a global scale. You will report to the Director of Communications and work closely with marketing, product, and technology subject matter experts across the company.
-Drive the strategy for a global analyst relations program to further the business goals of the company -Proactively engage and deepen relationships with analysts in our space and other market influencers Drive coverage and understanding of Datadog’s vision, strategy, competitive differentiation, and market leadership -Respond quickly to analyst requests, manage all responses which may require creating deliverables and coordinating between various internal departments -Lead program activities such as analyst inquiries, briefings, and interviews -Provide strategic business value to solutions marketing, product management, marketing, and sales -Coach and prepare spokespeople for analyst engagements, assist internal subject matter experts and spokespeople tailoring content for an analyst audience -Track, report and distribute notable mentions, tips and callouts from analyst interactions, new research papers, social conversations, and coverage
-5+ years’ experience in IT industry analyst relations in a vendor, agency role or related field -Enterprise software industry experience preferred -Knowledge about cloud computing, agile development, virtualization, and DevOps, are a plus -Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills -Strong attention to detail and an ability to manage numerous deadline-driven projects simultaneously -A graduate degree in a related field preferred
